Watercolor and colored pencil.

To honor Icelandic musician, Björk, in her latest album, Biophilia, I decided to create ten pieces to reflect the ten songs off of the album. The uniqueness of the project is her exploration of science and the universe, both micro and macro, and of course, love and passion. Blending all of these together i tried my best to play off the subtle references of the scientific nature of the song's themes and incorporate my own abstract concept to create a partner for each song. Explore: BIOPHILIA.
